A UCC Article 9 Review Committee has been appointed by ALI and the Uniform Law Commission to draft modifications to the text and comments of Article 9. ALI members are invited to join the Members Consultative Group for the project.
The Products Liability Restatement: Was It a Success?, a symposium to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Restatement Third of Torts: Products Liability, will take place at Brooklyn Law School on November 13-14. Co-chairs are Brooklyn Law Professors Anita Bernstein and Aaron D. Twerski. Professor Twerski and James A. Henderson, Jr., of Cornell were the Restatement’s Reporters.
The deadlines for submitting membership proposals are September 1 for fall consideration and December 15 for winter consideration.
